The reality of today's busy workplace can make it feel overwhelming to think about your career. When you are running to meet targets and are just barely getting your work done, you might feel that there is very little extra time or energy to reflect on the quality or health of your career. People would normally run a check on their physical health to ensure that they are in top shape and address any threat immediately before it escalates into a major issue. Your career demands no less attention. It is important to think about and tend to your career on a regular basis; it should never be left till there is a problem. Feeling good about the state of your career is crucial to being engaged in your work. Career check helps to keep your career healthy and prepares you for the challenges and opportunities that tomorrow hold. How It Works The approach to the career check-up programme is flexible to accommodate your schedule. You will be required to do some preparatory work prior to your appointment. It would normally follow the following steps;
- Our Background Questionnaire will be sent to you which you will complete and return to us at least a week before your appointmentk
- More questionnaires will be sent to you to complete after we receive your background questionnaire
- Your Career Consultant would engage you for a three hour session. This could be a physical meeting or via Skype. There may be a need for use of further questionnaires.
- At the end of the whole engagement, you will get a Summary of the key points emerging from the meeting via e-mail.
