Dr. Adewumi Oluwakemi completed her doctoral study from the Glamorgan Business
School Wales, UK, with specialisation in management (HRM) while researching on
workplace bullying.
She has written various papers and Journals on workplace bullying and other sensitive employee related matters,
which she has presented in international conferences and seminars in countries like Canada, Sweden, Ireland,
France and Wales.
Dr. Adewumi is the Sub Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and a Senior lecturer at the department
of industrial relations and personnel management, university of Lagos. In addition to lecturing Undergraduate
and Post Graduate students, she also supervises dissertation, including MBA students.
She conducts independent research focusing on the development and implementation of diverse HR principles to
different organizations, including Training, Diversity Management, Organisational Change, Workplace Bullying
and Harassment and High Performance and Performance Work Practices
She is currently conducting a research on Workplace Bullying: an undiagnosed social problem in Nigeria,
cultural differences in perceptions and recommended measures. Her papers on workplace bullying and other
areas of interest are available in several international journals.
