Akindele is the Convener of the Career Rethink Conference. He believes strongly that everyone can have a purposeful career, hence, his passion that people deliberately and consciously rethink their approach to career development.
As a Business Model You® certified practitioner, he helps individuals and organisations reinvent and design their career by shifting focus from skills to value addition, a better approach to career growth and development in a dynamic business world. He is equally a CCS, UK accredited career coach. He holds an MSC in Service Management and Design from the University of Warwick, UK with distinction.
Prior to founding Career Edge Limited, he was the Group Head, HR Business Process and Outsourcing at Workforce Group where he was accountable for several clients project in the areas of executive search and selection, talent assessment & development, workforce outsourcing and other turnkey consulting interventions. He also served in UBA Group, UBA Global Markets and Intercontinental Bank (now Access Bank) as HR Business Partner.
He teaches fundamental career principles both in and out of Nigeria, steering people towards having a meaningful career. He is a member of the faculty of the University of Ibadan Business School. He authors the Christian Employee Series, a weekly knowledge sharing platform that teaches practical application of biblical principles for career success.
